Description

You will support and implement agency IT system infrastructure within a medium to large-scale enterprise environment. Responsibilities include day-to-day support, research, analysis, and implementation of VMware and Windows systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute OS upgrades, software patch installations, and system testing.
• Manage VMware maintenance, including VMtools and hardware compatibility updates.
• Configure, validate, and troubleshoot SAN technology attached to VMware infrastructure.
• Translate user requests into actionable VMware or Windows tasks.

Required Skills

• 7 years of experience with Windows Server 2012 or higher, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.
• 7 years of experience performing OS upgrades, patching, and installations.
• 7 years of hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting medium to large-scale enterprise server environments.
• 7 years of experience working with and writing PowerShell scripts.
• 7 years of experience with SAN technology setup and troubleshooting within VMware infrastructure.
• 7 years of experience with WSUS for updates and maintenance.
• 7 years of experience with standard server networking protocols.
• 7 years of experience troubleshooting VMware and Windows environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, users, and vendors.

Preferred Skills

• 3 years of experience with Brocade switches for maintenance and SAN setup.
