Description

Manage and optimize VMware environments and Windows server infrastructures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Operate VMware ESXi 6.x/7.x, vCenter 7.x, and HCI systems including Nutanix, VxRail, and Powerflex.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS performance and system-level issues across versions 2003 to 2022.
• Manage hardware lifecycle for HP C 7000 chassis, rack, and blade servers.
• Install, configure, and maintain disaster recovery solutions and system patches.
• Monitor system health and resolve performance bottlenecks in CPU, memory, and disk space.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration or virtualization.
• Deep expertise in VMware ESXi 6.x, 7.x, and vCenter.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server (2003 through 2022).
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and Terminal Services.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Failover Clustering.
• Proficiency with Powerflex and HCI environments.
• Ability to manage hardware upgrades, firmware, and OS patching.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Blade Logic, Ansible, ServiceNow, or Big Panda.
• Knowledge of Nutanix, VxRail, or Powerflex.
• MCITP/MCSE or VMware Certified Professional certifications.
