Description

You will design, deploy, and manage enterprise virtualization and cloud environments, focusing on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and NSX.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy VCF environments across management and workload domains.
• Configure NSX components, including logical switching, routing, and firewall rules.
• Set up vSAN clusters, defining fault domains and storage policies.
• Lead migration projects from legacy infrastructure to VCF using HCX, vMotion, and SRM.
• Conduct system assessments, create runbooks, and define rollback plans.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise virtualization or cloud infrastructure.
• Expertise in VCF lifecycle management and NSX-T/NSX-V design, including microsegmentation.
• Proven experience implementing and planning vSAN capacity.
• Deep knowledge of VMware Aria Suite (Operations, Automation, Orchestrator, Lifecycle).
• Strong experience with vSphere 6.x/7.x/8.x and vCenter.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as PowerCLI and Ansible.
• Experience with large-scale migrations and tools like HCX and SRM.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with Windows Server and SCCM environments.
