Description

You will own the architectural design and migration strategy for VMware environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end VMware architecture initiatives, creating HLD/LLD, capacity models, and secure reference designs.
  • Drive strategy workshops to assess current infrastructure and define target SDDC/cloud architectures.
  • Oversee discovery, POCs, pilots, and phased migrations across private, hybrid, and multicloud environments.
  • Establish automation patterns using PowerCLI, Terraform, and Ansible while guiding cross-functional teams.
  • Develop operational runbooks, observability frameworks, lifecycle baselines, and DR/BCP plans with SRM.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in VMware-focused roles.
  • Advanced expertise across vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria/vRealize, SRM, HCX, and multicloud environments.
  • Proficiency with automation tools including PowerCLI, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Experience creating high-level and low-level design documents.
  • Ability to translate technical decisions into business outcomes for executive audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
