Description

You will design, lead, and execute data center administration while managing virtualization and operating system lifecycles.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure, troubleshoot, and administer virtual server platforms using unified compute, storage, and network resources.
• Manage operating system upgrades, lifecycle management, and hardware/software audits to ensure compliance.
• Design and develop standard operating procedures, technical specifications, and automation templates for device configuration.
• Provide support for business continuity, disaster recovery, and cloud environment subscriptions.
• Monitor system availability and performance to provide capacity management reporting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT environment administration and maintenance.
• 5+ years of experience with Windows and virtualization technologies such as VMware.
• 5+ years of experience in request and incident management.
• 2+ years of experience administering and supporting cloud server environments like Azure.
• 1+ years of experience administering and supporting non-Windows operating systems.
• 1+ years of experience supporting storage platforms.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and LAN/WAN environments.
• Experience with SAN and data backup technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated device configuration and design documentation.
