Description

You will manage and maintain a virtual environment using vCenter Server 6.5 and 6.7, ensuring host and VM resource allocation, performance monitoring, and automation via Terraform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage ESXi host and virtual machine resource allocation, including CPU, memory, and hard disk.
• Monitor and manage performance of ESXi servers and virtual machines using VMware vRealize Operations Manager.
• Provision servers from hardened templates using Terraform automation.
• Maintain clusters by creating clusters, adding hosts, and managing servers based on application requirements.
• Perform health checks on VMs and ESXi hosts, including patching hosts and guests.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in virtualization environments.
• Deep knowledge of VMware ESXi, VMware Photon, and VMware vCenter.
• Experience with Windows Server and Hyper-V.
• Proficiency with Terraform for server provisioning.
• Hands-on experience with vSphere PowerCLI.
• Practical knowledge of ESXi features including vMotion, SVMotion, HA, and DRS.
• Experience managing Dell VX Rail and Cisco UCS hardware.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of VMware vRealize and LogInsight.
