Description

You will design, implement, and manage a vSphere environment to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and deploy vSphere environments, including ESXi host installation and vCenter Server configuration.
  • Manage the full VM lifecycle, including deployment, resource allocation, snapshots, backups, and migrations.
  • Monitor environment performance across CPU, memory, and network bandwidth to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Execute capacity planning and proactive resource assessment to prevent storage or compute bottlenecks.
  • Handle patch management, upgrades for ESXi and vCenter, and implement security best practices and access controls.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and virtualization.
  • Deep expertise with VMware ESXi and vCenter Server.
  • Hands-on experience managing Virtual Machines (VMs) and resource allocation.
  • Proficiency with ITIL or recognized change management frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of servers, networks, storage, and security systems.
  • Ability to analyze technical impacts, identify risks, and manage change initiatives.
  • Experience managing stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams through technical changes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex infrastructure troubleshooting.
