Description

You will design, build, and support the Internal Cloud Platform as a Service (PaaS) based on VMware Tanzu Application Server (TAS).

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform architecture, configuration standards, and engineering patterns for application deployment.
• Ensure the TAS platform meets enterprise standards for availability, scalability, security, and developer experience.
• Collaborate with automation, SRE, and operations teams to improve platform reliability and lifecycle management.
• Support application onboarding, modernization, and integration within the PaaS environment.

Required Skills

• 4-5 years of experience engineering or operating Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and application runtimes.
• Deep understanding of platform architecture and virtualization concepts.
• Experience with VMware and internal cloud platforms.
• Proven track record supporting developer onboarding and CI/CD integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with application runtime platforms beyond standard PaaS offerings.
• Background in automation and infrastructure as code.
