Description

You will design and automate enterprise infrastructure solutions using VMware, hypervisor technologies, and cloud platforms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Drive architecture designs using an automation-first approach and Infrastructure as Code.
• Identify and replace manual activities with automation for infrastructure deployment and maintenance.
• Architect enterprise-level physical and cloud compute, hypervisor solutions, and OS templates.
• Assess environmental risks regarding stability, resiliency, performance, and security.
• Participate in application roadmap planning and Kanban delivery using Jira.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer.
• Expertise with VMware and hypervisor-level architecture.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub, Atlassian, and Jenkins.
• Strong command of JSON and YAML for automation.
• Experience building enterprise storage solutions (InfiniDat, EMC, or NetApp).
• Proven ability to design and automate data management across AWS storage services (EBS, EFS, S3, Glacier, Storage Gateway).
• Experience with enterprise backup and recovery software solutions like Cohesity.
• Working knowledge of Cisco MDS and switching.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Infinidata product portfolio (Infinibox / Infinibox SSA), NetApp, or EMC Powermax.
• Deep AWS knowledge including ECS, EKS, API Gateway, ELB, RDS, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
