Description

You will design, implement, and maintain VMware vSphere virtualization infrastructure for the Dallas office.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage ESXi hosts (6.5+), vCenter Server, and vSAN.
• Administer virtual networks, storage, and virtualization components.
• Handle installation and administration of vCenter Server, VMware View, and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Manage vMotion, P2V, P2P, V2V migrations, and VMware Update Manager.
• Integrate vCenter with AD, DNS, and backup applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
• Proficiency in managing Red Hat RHEL Operating Systems.
• Experience with virtualization security and hardening techniques.
• Ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer programming, or a similar field.

Preferred Skills

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification.
• Experience with Kernel-based virtual machines (KVM) or Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization.
• Knowledge of container technologies, specifically Kubernetes.
