Description

You design, implement, and maintain VMware vSphere virtualization infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and vSAN.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage virtual networks, storage, and virtualization components.
• Administer vCenter Server, VMware View, and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot vSphere environments for performance and availability.
• Develop automation scripts to manage VMware vSphere operations.
• Integrate vCenter with AD, DNS, and backup applications.

Required Skills

• VMware vSphere (ESXi 6.5+), vCenter Server, and vSAN.
• Experience with vMotion, P2V, V2V, and VMware Update Manager.
• Proficiency in managing Red Hat RHEL Operating Systems.
• Knowledge of virtualization and hypervisor security hardening techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• VMware Certified Professional certification.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kernel-based virtual machines (KVM) or Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container technologies.
