Description

Manage and maintain virtualized infrastructure across VMware, Nutanix, and public cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, patch, and upgrade Nutanix, Cisco UCS, vCenters, ESXi, and virtual machines.
• Manage vSphere features including HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, Update Manager, and vSAN.
• Execute VM commissioning and decommissioning using vRA and perform security hardening and SSO configuration.
• Handle Sev-1 incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and manage on-call rotations.
• Run disaster recovery tests and planned recoveries using Zerto.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in virtualization and infrastructure management.
• Hands-on expertise with VMware (vSphere, vSAN, vRA, vROPS, Log Insight, Network Insight).
• Direct experience with Nutanix environments.
• Experience managing AWS EC2 and Azure VMs.
• Proficiency with Cisco UCS and HPE physical servers.
• Knowledge of Software/Hardware RAID and Active Directory.
• Ability to automate regular tasks through scripting.
• Experience with backup, restore, and VM template hardening.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for RCA submission and SLA compliance.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of NSX-T and HCX migrations.
• VMware, Nutanix, or AWS/Azure Cloud certifications.
