Description

You will own the lifecycle management and support for VMware infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer issues via telephone, email, or remote sessions.
• Identify and escalate issues to vendors following defined process guidelines.
• Collaborate with technology teams to diagnose and isolate complex issues.
• Handle Problem Management, Post Incident Reviews, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Maintain quality across case documentation, SLA adherence, and operational metrics.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an Enterprise Managed Service environment.
• Administer, operate, and manage vSphere Data Center environments.
• Hands-on experience with ESXi and vCenter upgrades.
• Proficiency with ESXi command line interface operations.
• Experience managing vCenter HA, DRS, and other cluster features.
• Expertise in vSphere networking, including Standard Switch and Distributed Switch (DVDS).
• Experience configuring vSphere Storage using iSCSI, FC, Software iSCSI, and RDMs.
• Familiarity with vSphere performance monitoring and charting.
• Basic knowledge of DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory.
• Understanding of VMware SRM and vSAN concepts.
• Basic scripting knowledge using VMware PowerCLI.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to work within a 24/7 support structure.
