Description

You will manage and maintain VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments and their integrated components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure VCF components including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and SDDC Manager.
• Execute workload domain creation and host augmentation in clusters using JSON scripting.
• Manage SDDC Manager lifecycle tasks such as patch upgrades, bundle management, and component upgrades for vCenter, NSX-T, and ESXi.
• Perform vulnerability remediation, certificate replacement, and disk expansion across the stack.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to SDDC Manager, ESXi, vCenter, and Linux OS.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in virtualization technologies.
• Proficiency with VMware vSphere, ESXi, vSAN, and NSX.
• Hands-on experience with SDDC Manager and VCF component deployment.
• Ability to use JSON scripts for cluster host augmentation.
• Strong Linux OS troubleshooting and administration skills.
• Understanding of vCenter services, HA, DRS, vMotion, and SVmotion.
• Knowledge of networking, network pool creation, and VMware component backups.
• Experience with Async patch tools and Link Mode vCenter.

Preferred Skills

• Handle administrative tasks including password management, licensing, depot settings, and LCM issues.
