Description

You will manage and maintain enterprise virtualization and hybrid cloud infrastructure in San Ramon, CA.

Responsibilities

• Install, patch, and upgrade Nutanix, Cisco UCS, vCenters, ESXi, and Virtual Machines.
• Manage VM lifecycles including commissioning and decommissioning via vRA.
• Execute disaster recovery testing and planned recoveries using Zerto.
• Handle Sev-1 incidents, perform root cause analysis, and meet SLA requirements for RCA submission.
• Perform capacity planning, performance troubleshooting, and security hardening across the environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in virtualization and infrastructure management.
• Hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, Update Manager, vSAN, vROPS, Log Insight, Network Insight).
• Proficiency with Nutanix environments.
• Experience managing AWS EC2 and Azure VMs.
• Direct experience with vRA for VM orchestration.
• Hands-on work with Zerto for DR operations.
• Experience with physical server hardware including HPE and Cisco UCS.
• Competency in Software/Hardware RAID and log analysis.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, user privileges, roles, SSO, and security hardening.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of NSX-T and HCX migrations.
• VMware, Nutanix, or AWS/Azure Cloud certifications.
