Description

Manage and maintain the virtualization infrastructure using VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and administer VMware vSphere environments including ESXi and vCenter.
• Manage virtualization features such as HA, DRS, vMotion, and Storage vMotion.
• Troubleshoot virtualization, networking, and infrastructure issues across Windows and Linux servers.
• Administer SAN/NAS storage and backup solutions to ensure data integrity.
• Support network concepts including VLAN, DNS, and TCP/IP.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a VMware Engineer or Administrator.
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.
• Knowledge of SAN/NAS storage architectures and backup solutions.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals: VLAN, DNS, and TCP/IP.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex virtualization and infrastructure problems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VMware Horizon or NSX.
• Proficiency in PowerCLI or PowerShell scripting.
• VMware certifications (VCP).
