Description

Design, implement, and manage VMware vSphere and VxRail environments while overseeing infrastructure operations and incident management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement VMware vSphere and VxRail solutions, including high availability configurations and system security policies.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolve complex VMware ESXi infrastructure issues.
• Plan and execute VMware upgrades, migrations, and application installations, including web servers and OS components.
• Oversee 2nd and 3rd level infrastructure support, managing incidents, changes, and events via ITSM procedures.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, including database restoration and business continuity strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and VxRail.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Event Management.
• Experience with Windows Server administration and web server configuration.
• Proficiency in production support and SLA management.
• Ability to design disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with 24x7 on-call support and outage response.
• Strategic planning experience for data centre technical platforms.
