Description

You will manage and optimize enterprise VMware virtualization environments, providing expert-level L3/L4 support for complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage vSphere environments, including vCenter Server, ESXi hosts, and virtual machines.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems while performing capacity planning to ensure system stability.
• Monitor system performance to maintain high availability and implement security best practices.
• Develop disaster recovery plans and manage regular backups and replication of virtual machines.
• Create detailed infrastructure documentation and provide knowledge transfer to junior engineers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience managing and supporting VMware environments.
• In-depth knowledge of VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerCLI, Python, or Bash.
• Understanding of network and storage concepts related to VMware infrastructure.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• VMware certifications such as VCP, VCAP, or VCDX.
