Description

You will manage and evolve data center environments using VMware NSX networking and security components across VM, k8s, and bare metal workloads.

Responsibilities

• Document, recommend, and implement migration options for complex enterprise environments.
• Deploy and manage VMware NSX Distributed Firewall solutions and networking components.
• Develop load balancing strategies to optimize system performance, availability, and resilience.
• Implement visibility integration strategies to improve system monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Identify security vulnerabilities and implement appropriate countermeasures and policies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with VMware NSX networking and security.
• Deep expertise in NSX Distributed Firewall solutions.
• Proven experience with Arista, Cisco, or Juniper network platforms.
• Experience managing firewall migration projects.
• Proficiency in API integration, load balancing, and visibility integration.
• Strong understanding of networking and security principles.
• Proficiency in Python or PowerShell for automation tasks.

Preferred Skills

• VMware certifications such as VCP-NV or VCIX-NV.
• Experience with cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
