Description

You will design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network architectures centered on VMware Velocloud SD-WAN solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect comprehensive network solutions using VMware Velocloud SD-WAN technology.
• Lead the deployment, configuration, and integration of SD-WAN solutions with existing infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to SD-WAN deployments.
• Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for performance and security optimization.
• Create and maintain detailed design diagrams, configuration guides, and operational documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network architecture and design with a focus on SD-WAN.
• Proficiency in VMware Velocloud SD-WAN technology, including Orchestrator (VCO) and Cloud Gateway (VCG).
• Hands-on experience with zero-touch provisioning of SD-WAN edge devices.
• Strong understanding of network protocols including MPLS, BGP, and OSPF.
• Advanced knowledge of HSRP, GLBP, and VRRP protocols.
• Experience with circuit integration to SD-WAN devices.
• Knowledge of QoS, MQoS, queuing, policing, shaping, and marking.
• Familiarity with network security principles, cloud networking, and virtualization.
