Description

You will manage the design, delivery, and administration of virtual desktop systems to ensure alignment with business needs and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and administer virtual desktop infrastructure using VMware data-center products and Horizon View.
• Manage virtual desktop pools, VM templates, and group policies to ensure optimal user experience and security.
• Monitor environment performance and diagnose complex issues to minimize end-user disruptions.
• Manage user profiles, roles, and groups using role-based access control best practices.
• Develop technical documentation, operating procedures, and training for Service Desk staff.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning, backup management, and system availability exercises.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in VDI administration and systems analysis.
• Deep expertise with VMware Horizon View and related data-center products.
• Experience managing server and data storage systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintaining complex infrastructure.
• Strong skills in integration, evaluation, and testing of system services.
• Knowledge of ITSM standards and Change Management methodologies.
• Ability to perform technical documentation and staff training.
• Experience with identity integration and risk assessment.
