Description

Manage the design, delivery, and administration of virtual desktop infrastructure to align with business needs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support VDI using VMware data-center products and Horizon View.
• Deploy virtual desktop pools, create VM templates, and configure group policies for security and performance.
• Manage user profiles, roles, and groups using role-based access control best practices.
• Monitor environment performance, diagnose technical issues, and coordinate with vendors for resolution.
• Develop technical documentation, operating procedures, and training for Service Desk staff.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration or VDI environments.
• Expertise in VDI Infrastructure and VMware Horizon View.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with VMware data-center products and server/storage systems.
• Proficiency in managing virtual machine templates and desktop application deployment.
• Experience following ITSM standards and Change Management methodologies.
• Ability to perform complex troubleshooting and system lifecycle analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Participation in disaster recovery planning, backup management, and system availability exercises.
