Description

Engineer responsible for managing the VMware Workspace ONE UEM platform and enterprise device lifecycle in Bangalore.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and maintain Workspace ONE UEM to manage Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.
• Oversee device enrollment, provisioning, and lifecycle management from onboarding to retirement.
• Create and enforce device and application policies to ensure organizational compliance and security standards.
• Provide expert-level support, perform root cause analysis for major incidents, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Implement automation using PowerShell to reduce manual effort and maintain comprehensive system documentation.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with VMware Workspace ONE UEM.
• Proficiency in managing diverse operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) in an enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of endpoint security, including data encryption, remote wipe, and threat mitigation.
• Ability to configure SSL certificates, security policies, and compliance monitoring.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and system configuration tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and clients.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Exchange (Online and On-premises) functionality and Network Load Balancers.
• Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
