Description
You will provide on-site hands and feet support for voice and networking infrastructure deployments and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Execute hardware installations, including racking, de-racking, and decommissioning of network equipment.
- Manage physical connectivity by swapping Ethernet/Fiber cables, analyzing fiber faults, and performing patching and cabling activities.
- Maintain mobile phone, paging, and walkie-talkie systems, including inventory management and SIM/device allocation.
- Document all processes by creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and High Level Design documents.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors, onsite facilities, and security teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in voice or networking environments.
- Foundational knowledge of routers, switches, WLC, and media converters.
- Hands-on experience with fiber, copper, Ethernet, and various SFP types.
- Ability to perform physical hardware inspections and troubleshoot via device LED status.
- Proficiency in English and Dutch.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and own a car to transport equipment.
- Availability to support out-of-hours incidents, including weekends, with a 30-minute response time for P1 issues.
- Ability to obtain VCA certification prior to joining.
- Degree or equivalent graduation in any field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing telephony transformation projects and creating weekly/monthly progress dashboards.
