Description

Manage the physical deployment and migration of telephony systems within large facilities.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute migration of site telephony from PBX to VoIP environments.
• Survey plant layouts to determine optimal VoIP phone placement and network cabinet connectivity.
• Install hardware on desks and identify potential installation roadblocks.
• Support a senior network engineer with technical tasks as required.
• Maintain high safety awareness while walking and working within a large facility.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in telephony or related technical roles.
• Proficiency with telephony acronyms and general networking terminology.
• Ability to physically walk large facilities and perform hardware installations.
• Strong attention to detail and self-motivated work habits.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Graduate degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Network+ certification.
