Description

You own the end-to-end remediation of vulnerabilities across enterprise Windows and Linux systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute OS and third-party application patching using Tanium Patch, Deploy, and Comply modules.
• Analyze and remediate vulnerabilities identified by Tanium, Tenable, Qualys, and Rapid7.
• Create, test, and deploy Tanium patching policies, maintenance windows, and configuration hardening.
• Troubleshoot failed patch deployments, endpoint communication issues, and agent failures.
• Develop automation scripts in PowerShell, Bash, and Python to streamline remediation workflows.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on vulnerability remediation or systems administration experience.
• Strong expertise with Tanium (Patch, Deploy, Comply, Interact, Asset).
• Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Ability to interpret vulnerability scan results and CVSS scoring.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience managing enterprise-scale patch deployments and change management processes.
• Familiarity with endpoint agent troubleshooting and patch failure resolution.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating Tanium with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with CIS benchmarks, security hardening standards, or cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
