Description

You will manage vulnerability assessment and remediation within an enterprise Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot vulnerability reports from Qualys to identify specific security risks.
• Coordinate with architects, application owners, and security teams to plan and execute remediation schedules.
• Own Windows patching processes using SCCM or WSUS.
• Implement Windows hardening on workstations and servers.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for stakeholders regarding remediation progress.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in vulnerability assessment and remediation.
• Expertise in Windows Server (2016, 2019) and Windows client OS (10, 11).
• Proficiency with centralized patch management tools such as SCCM or WSUS.
• Hands-on experience with Qualys vulnerability scanning.
• Strong knowledge of CVE, CVSS, and vulnerability management frameworks.
• Experience remediating vulnerabilities related to Java, SNMP, DNS, Bind, Proxy, and NFS.
• Experience managing VMware technologies.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Familiarity with NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001 standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Azure Administrator Associate or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certifications.
