Description

You will manage and optimize WAF solutions across edge, cloud, and on-premise environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom WAF rules and features to address security gaps.
• Tune and configure WAF settings based on web security principles and attack mitigation strategies.
• Maintain DevSecOps pipelines to support security automation workflows.
• Review and align platforms with MVP and Baseline Configurations.
• Interface with the SOC to manage WAF-related security incidents and network connectivity issues.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in web application security or infrastructure projects.
• Expertise in multiple WAF solutions for cloud and on-premise deployment.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP WAF controls.
• Deep understanding of web application security attack methods and mitigations.
• Proficiency in HTTPS inspection, including termination and certificate management.
• Experience with rate limiting techniques and security configuration integration.
• Knowledge of version control and update mechanisms for WAF solutions.
• Familiarity with IDAM protocols and access control for WAF management.
• Competency in Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working on Information Security or Cyber Security projects.
