Description

You will design, build, and maintain remote office infrastructure to support VoIP, voice, video, and data services. You will own the end-to-end coordination of data and voice cable installations, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with NEC/OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design IT closet, rack, and cabinet layouts, including floor plans, as-builts, and site inspections.
  • Develop statements of work for vendors and manage the coordination of telecommunications cable infrastructure installations.
  • Conduct extensive data gathering, including station counts, location mapping, and phone system sizing.
  • Manage service repairs for telephony systems and telco services, participating in an on-call rotation.
  • Perform infrastructure inspections, final systems acceptance, and audits of vendor invoicing.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with PBX, KTS, LAN, CAN, cabling, ACD, IVR, VoIP, WAN, video, and wireless access points.
  • 5+ years of experience in telecommunications cable infrastructure installation and design.
  • 5+ years of experience installing and servicing telecommunication PBX/KSU systems.
  • 5+ years of experience applying NEC/OSHA codes and standards.
  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Proficiency with Visio, Adobe Pro, and CAD.
  • Experience in telecommunications technology within an enterprise environment.
  • Associate degree in Electronics or Computer Sciences.
