Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk I to support purchasing, inventory control, procurement, and facility operations at a manufacturing facility in Tempe, AZ.

The ideal candidate will be organized, comfortable working with inventory and purchasing processes, and able to coordinate effectively with maintenance, production, and other internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure materials arrive on time.

Monitor inventory levels for maintenance and operational supplies.

Help maintain appropriate stock levels and follow purchasing procedures.

Assist maintenance teams with forecasting material and tool requirements for preventive maintenance.

Support facility service contracts, including HVAC, janitorial services, and equipment repairs.

Ensure vendor agreements and purchasing activities follow company policies.

Prepare reports on purchasing activities, costs, and vendor performance.

Maintain accurate inventory, purchasing, and procurement records.

Assist with administrative tasks related to facility management, procurement, and compliance.

Work closely with maintenance, production, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Additional education or training in procurement, supply chain, inventory, or a related field is a plus.

1–2 years of experience in an office or manufacturing environment.

Previous purchasing or procurement experience is preferred, especially in a manufacturing or production setting.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Experience with purchasing software or inventory management systems is a plus.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Basic understanding of facility maintenance and operational needs is preferred.

Ability to collaborate effectively with maintenance, production, and other teams.

Important Work Requirement

This is an onsite position, Monday–Friday.

Candidates must be eligible for employment for an indefinite duration without employment limitations.

Flexibility to work varied hours and overtime may be required based on business needs.
