Description

We are hiring 3 experienced Warehouse Order Selectors to support distribution center operations at a milk plant in Bellevue, WA.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent order selecting experience and previous experience operating an electric pallet jack. This position involves selecting and palletizing dairy, refrigerated, and other perishable products using voice-directed technology.

This is a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse role that requires working in a refrigerated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Select full-case dairy, refrigerated, and perishable products using a voice-directed picking system.

Operate a ride-on electric pallet jack to pick and transport products.

Wear a voice-picking headset throughout the shift.

Build stable pallets and prepare customer orders for shipment.

Accurately select products while meeting productivity and quality standards.

Follow food safety, sanitation, and warehouse safety procedures.

Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.

Work effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and drivers.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of recent order selecting experience required.

Previous electric pallet jack experience required.

Must be able to obtain required certification to operate electric pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period without employment restrictions.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Ability to follow safety procedures and verbal/written instructions.

Comfortable using voice-directed warehouse technology.

Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.

Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity.

Physical Requirements

This position is physically demanding. Candidates must be able to:

Lift, carry, push, pull, stack, and move products weighing up to 50 lbs.

Frequently lift products to shoulder height and overhead.

Stand and walk continuously for extended periods.

Bend, stoop, squat, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movements.

Safely mount, dismount, and operate warehouse equipment.

Perform physical work throughout the shift in a refrigerated environment.

Important: Candidates will be individually lifting and moving products as part of their daily duties and should be comfortable with these physical requirements before applying.

Work Environment

Refrigerated warehouse maintained at approximately 34°F–37°F.

Fast-paced distribution center environment.

Regular interaction with moving warehouse equipment and machinery.

Must wear required PPE and follow all safety requirements.

Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required based on business needs.

Must be comfortable working in a professional, team-oriented environment.

Interview & Hiring Process

Qualified candidates will be invited to a 30-minute onsite interview.

The interview may include questions about previous order selecting experience, electric pallet jack operation, safety practices, and warehouse productivity.

What to Bring

Safety shoes are required on Day 1.

Please note that regular closed-toe or slip-resistant shoes do not qualify as safety shoes.

Candidates should also dress appropriately for working in a refrigerated warehouse environment. Additional PPE may be required based on site safety guidelines.

Contract Details

Initial Assignment: 60 days

Potential Extension: Yes

Full-Time Conversion: Possible based on attendance, performance, safety, and business needs

Union: Employees who convert to full-time status will be required to join the onsite union.
