Description

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Order Selector/Shipping I contractor to support gift card order fulfillment and shipping operations in Boise, Idaho.

The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting and counting gift cards, entering order information into an internal system, preparing shipping labels, and ensuring packages are accurately prepared for shipment.

This position requires excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a physically active environment. Candidates must also be flexible with working hours, as daily schedules depend on order volume.

Key Responsibilities

Review incoming orders and select the appropriate gift cards for fulfillment.

Accurately count gift cards and verify card number ranges.

Enter gift card information and UPS tracking numbers into the internal ordering system.

Prepare gift cards and packages for shipment.

Create shipping labels and process shipments using the UPS website.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with the company's clear-desk policy.

Restock gift cards, envelopes, boxes, shipping labels, printer paper, and other supplies at the end of each workday.

Handle confidential gift card information responsibly.

Maintain a fulfillment rate averaging at least five orders per hour.

Follow established order processing, inventory handling, and shipping procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic computer, keyboarding, and internet skills.

General knowledge of Microsoft Outlook or email systems.

Ability to learn and use an internal order fulfillment system.

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when counting and handling gift cards.

Good manual dexterity and the ability to work efficiently.

Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to perform physical tasks involving bending, lifting, carrying, picking, and moving packages.

Willingness to work on-site five days per week.

Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling proprietary gift card information.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in warehouse operations, order fulfillment, shipping, or inventory management.

Familiarity with UPS shipping procedures.

Experience operating an electric pallet jack.

Experience handling cards or performing tasks that require precise counting and coordination.

Work Schedule

Work Location: On-site at 250 E. Park Center, Boise, ID 83706.

Typical Hours: 8:00 AM–5:30 PM, with flexibility in start times.

Schedule: Five days per week, with daily working hours determined by order volume and operational needs.

Hours: Work may range from approximately four hours on one day to eight hours on another. Eight hours per day are not guaranteed.

The on-site manager will determine daily schedules based on order demand and workload.

Compensation

Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour.

Employment Type: Contract.

Compensation is based on actual hours worked.
