Description

Manage and optimize WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and IBM HTTP Server environments in a fully remote capacity.

Responsibilities

• Install, implement, upgrade, and patch WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTP Server systems.
• Configure and manage WebSphere Application Server clustering to ensure high availability and uptime.
• Monitor, track, and tune WebSphere environments to maximize performance and availability.
• Execute security patching and apply support fixes as required.
• Validate backup techniques to ensure system recoverability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in WebSphere runtime topologies.
• Hands-on experience with IBM HTTP Server (IHS) and IBM HTTP Server Plugins.
• Experience with WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) administration, event management, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency with SOAP, UDDI, and WSDL web services.
• Working knowledge of XML and HTML.
• Proven ability in problem determination and performance analysis for WAS environments.
