Description

You will manage and maintain WebSphere Application Server across UNIX and Solaris platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer WebSphere Application Server ND, including instance configuration, health monitoring, and application deployment.
• Configure WebSphere resources such as JDBC providers, Data Sources, JNDI, J2C authentication aliases, and MQ queues.
• Perform application environment configurations involving JVM, clustering, profile creation, JMS, and security implementation.
• Deploy J2EE applications (WAR/EAR files) using the admin console or jython scripts.
• Execute production changes under tight schedules and perform Level 2/Level 3 troubleshooting for IHS, WAS, and Plugin issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in middleware administration and production support.
• Hands-on experience with WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTP Server.
• Proficiency with UNIX and Solaris operating systems and command line interfaces.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Apache and Tomcat.
• Deep understanding of JDBC, JMS, JNDI, and SIB.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for middleware technologies.
• Ability to perform performance tuning and monitoring for WebSphere environments.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
