Description

You will service customers by testing and analyzing water samples, reviewing systems, and adjusting equipment. You will independently plan and organize service calls for optimal efficiency. You will solve unique customer problems through analysis, interpretation, and deduction while maintaining strong relationships as an adviser. You will obtain orders or contracts for services and exercise independent judgment. You will continuously learn about water treatment systems, methods, and chemistry. You will collaborate with customers, Service and Water Quality Engineers, and the Service Manager.

Responsibilities

• Test and analyze water samples and review systems for existing customers.
• Independently plan and organize service calls for optimal efficiency.
• Solve varied customer problems through analysis, interpretation, and deduction.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and act as an adviser and consultant.
• Obtain orders or contracts for services and exercise independent judgment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in engineering, chemistry, water treatment, or related fields.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to handle chemicals with proper PPE.
• Physical ability to drive to customer sites, walk frequently, and climb stairs or ladders.
• Willingness to work in environments with hot/cold temperatures and noise.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and self-motivation.
• Knowledge obtained through work experience and intellectual instruction if no degree.

Preferred Skills

• Prior work experience with a water treatment or HVAC company.
• College degree in engineering, chemistry, or water treatment.
