Description

Lead development on IBM WebSphere Commerce platforms, owning scalable ecommerce solutions and subsystem customizations.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ecommerce solutions using IBM WCS.
• Lead implementation of WCS subsystems including Catalog, Order, Member, Promotions, and Search.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for service communication.
• Migrate legacy WCS components into a microservices architecture.
• Support application deployment and monitoring in cloud-native environments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in IBM WCS development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, and Spring Framework.
• In-depth knowledge of WCS subsystems: Catalog, Order, Member, Promotions, and Search.
• Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to cloud-native deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, MySQL, and MS SQL.
• Experience with AWS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with headless commerce or MACH architecture.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools including Jenkins, Git, and Terraform.
• IBM WCS certification.
