Description

You will develop and maintain solutions within the IBM WCS platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop features and components using Java and J2EE within the WCS environment.
• Integrate systems using RESTful API design and consumption.
• Implement and maintain code across WCS subsystems, including Catalog, Order, Member, Promotions, and Search.
• Contribute to the lifecycle of services using modern architectural patterns.

Required Skills

• Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in IBM WCS development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, JSP/Servlets, and Spring Framework.
• In-depth knowledge of WCS subsystems (Catalog, Order, Member, Promotions, Search).
• Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with core technologies: HTML/HTML5, Java, JavaScript, MySQL, MS SQL.
• Experience with Apache Struts and HCL Commerce.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with headless commerce or MACH architecture.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Git, Terraform).
