You will design, develop, and maintain scalable e-commerce solutions using IBM WebSphere Commerce WCS.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and customization of WCS subsystems including Catalog, Order, Member, Promotions, and Search.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for service communication and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Migrate legacy WCS components into a microservices architecture.
• Support application deployment and monitoring in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Required Skills

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in IBM WCS development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, and Spring Framework.
• In-depth knowledge of WCS subsystems (Catalog, Order, Member, Promotions, Search).
• Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to cloud-native deployments and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with headless commerce or MACH architecture.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Git, and Terraform.
