Description

Develop and maintain scalable e-commerce solutions on IBM WebSphere Commerce.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable e-commerce solutions using WCS.
• Lead implementation and customization of WCS subsystems (Catalog, Order, Member, Promotions, Search).
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for service communication.
• Contribute to migrating legacy WCS components to microservices architecture.
• Support deployment and monitoring in cloud-native environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in IBM WCS development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and J2EE.
• Deep knowledge of WCS subsystems (Catalog, Order, Member, Promotions, Search).
• Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization.
• Experience with HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Proficiency with Apache Struts and JSP/Servlets.
• Experience with HCL Commerce.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-native deployment tools.
