Description

You will build and maintain enterprise solutions within the IBM/HCL Commerce (WCS) ecosystem using Java and microservices.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement features using Core Java and Spring Boot in a microservices architecture.
• Design and consume REST APIs using Spring MVC or WebFlux.
• Integrate data persistence layers using JPA/Hibernate against SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Customize and extend core WCS functionality, covering Catalog, Order, Member, and Payment modules.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java (versions 8–11).
• Expertise with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and WebFlux.
• Hands-on experience building REST APIs.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture patterns.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate, SQL, and NoSQL data stores.
• Demonstrated experience with HCL Commerce / IBM WCS (v7/8/9).
