You will design, plan, and implement commerce solutions across B2B and B2C business models.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions for complex commerce ecosystems and extended sites.
• Lead planning exercises and workshops to translate business requirements into system designs.
• Manage technical tracks, defining comprehensive solutions and anticipating module-level risks.
• Create blueprint designs for ecommerce landscapes and abstract details into repeatable patterns.
• Communicate technical solutions and risk assessments to audiences at varying technical levels.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development lifecycle using agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with WebSphere Commerce (WCS) versions 7.x, 8.x, and 9.x.
• Strong Java/J2EE and database programming skills.
• Proven experience with BOD framework and DynaCache.
• Direct experience with WCS subsystems including Catalog, Order, Member, and Payment.
• Experience with SOLR development and integration with SOAP and REST services.
• Ability to design and develop custom solutions within WebSphere Commerce architecture.
• Background in B2B, B2C, and extended site business models.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with migration from FEP7 to FEP8.
• Experience with Adobe Target.
