Description

You will serve as an accessibility subject matter expert, ensuring web development compliance with industry standards.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve web accessibility issues to maintain compliance with WCAG AA 2.1 standards.
• Perform manual and tool-based testing to validate accessibility requirements across projects.
• Maintain internal quality control processes to ensure deliverables are accurate and complete.
• Coordinate and prioritize work to meet project deliverables and deadlines.
• Provide weekly status updates on task progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Required Skills

• Minimum of two years of experience in accessibility identification and resolution.
• Practical experience following WCAG AA 2.1 (including 2.0 and 2.2) standards.
• Proficiency in manual and automated accessibility testing tools.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with technical systems implementation and industry standards.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and Visio for documentation.
• Minimum of six months of successful experience in project management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within an education environment, such as a school or district.
• Experience working as a developer within a technology department or division.
