Description

You will manage web and application tier architectures for commercial cloud customers in Microsoft Azure (Gov/DoD), ensuring secure and stable deployments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current application architectures and design new deployments using Azure PaaS and IaaS services.
• Administer SQL, web, and application tier systems, including installation, configuration, and patching.
• Execute system hardening according to STIG guidance and industry best practices.
• Manage SSL certificates and enforce TLS requirements.
• Maintain and upgrade mid-tier tools to ensure system sustainment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in web and application tier administration.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure environments.
• Proficiency with IIS, Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, or JBOSS.
• Strong SQL administration skills.
• Knowledge of TLS and SSL certificate management.
• Experience performing system hardening per STIG guidance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a remote capacity.
