Description

You will manage the support, administration, and maintenance of web and middleware infrastructure and its dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain web, middleware, and application server infrastructure.
• Lead infrastructure changes, implementations, and application migration projects.
• Act as the technical implementation lead for application projects and international T&T phases.
• Define service requests for applications and databases.
• Coordinate with internal infrastructure teams to steer technical delivery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in planning and implementing applications within a Managed Service Provider environment.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows Server.
• Experience with middleware such as JBoss App Server, Tomcat, or WebSphere.
• Database administration experience with Oracle DB, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of LDAP, networking, and certificates.
• Knowledge of infrastructure relationships including VLAN, storage, firewall, backup, monitoring, and hardening.
• Familiarity with 3-tier Java-application architectures.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience working within ITIL processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hybrid environments including Azure, AWS, on-prem, or HCI.
• German language skills.
