Description

You will manage and maintain web and application tier infrastructure within Azure environments, ensuring stability and security across cloud-native deployments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop new application architectures for Azure, focusing on cloud-native database services (PaaS vs IaaS).
• Build and deploy infrastructure for web and application services using Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Provide full system sustainment, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, system hardening, and SSL certificate management.
• Collaborate with developers to manage regular project releases and code deployments.
• Transform technical objectives into comprehensive requirements through cross-team collaboration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SQL web and application tier administration.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, JBOSS, Gitlab, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Experience with web servers such as IIS, Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, or JBOSS.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools including Gitlab or Azure DevOps Server.
• Working knowledge of DoD STIGs and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM).
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
