Description

You will develop back-office web applications to support legacy revenue systems and build new fare payment infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement custom modules and APIs using Python.
• Create visually appealing interfaces and modify templates for CMS or web frameworks.
• Test for cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility, including accessibility standards.
• Support troubleshooting for client workstation applications.
• Participate in code reviews, planning sessions, and release/deployment execution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Python programming and API development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Solid understanding of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and AJAX.
• Experience with object-oriented design and data modeling.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Experience with Windows and Linux OS scripting (PowerShell, bash).
• Familiarity with user experience design principles and usability heuristics.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java.
• Working knowledge of AWS Cloud Technologies.
• Knowledge of SEO coding best practices.
