Description

You will develop back-office web applications supporting legacy revenue systems and contribute to the New Fare Payment System roadmap.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement custom modules and APIs using Python.
• Build web application frontends for internal and external customer applications.
• Develop and deploy a real-time transaction system for ticket validation.
• Provide documentation, conduct code reviews, and assist in release and deployment planning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in web application development.
• Proficiency in Python, including Django and FastAPI frameworks.
• Solid understanding of AJAX, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Working knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Proficient in AWS cloud development and deployment.
• Experience with Git/GitHub for source control.
• Familiarity with object-oriented design and data modeling.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building web-based applications and APIs.
