Description

Own production support for enterprise web applications built on JBoss EAP, Java, and .NET, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production support, incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews for JBoss EAP, Java, and .NET applications.
• Maintain application servers, middleware, and web services, ensuring stability, patching, and compliance across environments.
• Manage integrations and data flows using Informatica IICS and handle REST/SOAP web services.
• Establish operational runbooks, monitoring, alerting, and escalation procedures, and manage support intake via ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to drive continuous improvement, reduce incidents, and support release planning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise application support with strong hands-on troubleshooting of Java and .NET-based web applications.
• Solid experience administering and troubleshooting JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP).
• Proficiency with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) for data integration and management.
• Strong understanding of Web Services, including REST API and SOAP protocols.
• Experience managing application support intake and SLAs using ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of enterprise application architecture, middleware, and production support best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting applications in cloud or hybrid environments, including familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Background in regulated or high-availability enterprise environments with experience in application performance monitoring (APM).
• Experience managing global or follow-the-sun support teams.
