Web Architect

You will design and implement web applications and system architectures that align with business requirements and department needs.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and comprehensive web application designs.
• Develop solutions using Internet, Intranet, and Extranet architecture processes.
• Document object design decisions, estimating assumptions, and performance metrics.
• Ensure seamless integration between client and server applications and manage web server architecture.
• Coordinate with Information Security to establish protocols for data protection and CJIS compliance.
• Maintain documentation for architectural decisions, impact analysis, and system performance audits.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT experience with expertise in architecture design and software development.
• Proficiency in Java and Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Experience with database management systems and systems integration in multiplatform environments.
• Knowledge of cloud computing and web development frameworks.
• Experience designing systems that integrate diverse applications and data sources.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (relevant experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis).

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in TOGAF or cloud platforms, specifically Azure.
• Experience with Dreamweaver, InDesign, or Visual Studio Code.
• Experience designing websites and PDF files for ADA compliance.
