Description
You will manage safety and environmental compliance within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate workplace hazards and environmental issues.
- Analyze problems to provide accurate solutions.
- Counsel, coach, and influence technical staff, business leaders, and union personnel.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state safety and environmental laws.
- Lead EHS projects and teams.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills for communicating across all organizational levels.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to respond to organizational changes and challenges.
- Knowledge of standard databases and computer programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, EHS, Occupational Health and Safety, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Process Engineering.
Preferred Skills
- Experience leading EHS projects.
- Existing auditing certification or willingness to obtain one.
